How do I figure out where I am on the new salary schedule?
Go to this link and scroll down to the crossover key. Match your years of experience and education to the letter on the chart. Find the letter and education column on the salary schedule.

Remember that the crossover key is used only for initial placement on the District 6 compacted salary schedule. Once you've been placed, you don't need to look at the crossover key again. You'll just move to the next letter each year.

Example:
In 2002-03, a teacher was ready to move to MA48, step 21. The salary schedule was compacted, and using the crossover key, his initial placement was on MA48, Step O.
In 2003-04, this teacher is on Step P.
In 2004-05, this teacher is on Step Q.
